Who is Soke?

Soke (Pronounced So-Kay) is a young talented music producer / artist that has been active since 2000. Born in Ottawa, Canada, but based in Montréal, Qc, he started producing after many years of enjoying good music like Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Nirvana. The discovery of Electronic music gave life to his talent in building sound. From skateboarding to the rave parties, graffiti and Hip Hop lifestyle, the logical result would be inspiration for underground music. Since the 3 major cities where Soké thinks music is really bangin' are Kingston (Jamaica), London, UK and New York City, he quickly realized that a fusion of Reggae, Electronic music and Hip Hop would be his flavor, his identity in the mainstream music industry.



The man has worked with Eva Avila (Canadian Idol winner 2006), Corneille, Jodie Resther, Billboard The producer (Britney Spears, Ke$ha) Marième (Musique Plus), Samian, Koriass and the majority of professional urban artists in Quebec, Smiff n Wessun, Pace Won, Punchline, AG (D.I.T.C), Gold Rush Rally 3 & 4, Philippe Greiss (Producer for Zaho)
